Frogs design is by Stuart Drinkall (see his web shop here). I have loved the natural world for as long as I can remember, and have a particular love of amphibians. I have been keeping non native amphibians for over twenty years and my love of frogs was the inspiration behind this design. All but one of the species depicted I have kept myself, and the other is a species that we were lucky enough to see transporting it’s tadpole while on honeymoon in Costa Rica (chosen partly for our destination due to it’s huge diversity of frog species). In many species of Poison Dart frogs the parents transport the tadpoles fom where the eggs are laid to suitable water pools where they can develop into froglets – babywearing in the frog world! The design features one rail with a frog life cycle so that the different rails can easily be identified when wrapping.
