Prehistoric design is by Stuart Drinkall (see his web shop here). As part of my love of the natural world I love the beauty of both ferns and dragonflies, and was inspired by prehistoric times, when giants of both these species abounded. The design is also partly inspired by my dinosaur loving toddler and his friends, as both ferns and dragonflies were around at the same time as the dinosaurs. The rails are easy to distinguish on the design as the ferns feaure on the bottom rail, and the dragonflies on the top.
